On 15 September 2016, representatives from partner Universities and associations of EurDiQ project were attended on the meeting with the tourist sector enterprises at Sochi State University:
-Status of Cyprus tourism industry and tourism education system (University of Nicosia);
-Tourist education in Kyrgyzstan (ADAM University/Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics);
-Presentation of activities in state educational standards from the Studies and Methodical Organization for Universities in Tourism (Sochi State University);
- Quality management system (ISO 9001) for enterprises (Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics).

On June, 6 2016 the round table "National Qualification system as a key instrument of development of education system in the Kyrgyz Republic: development of strategy" was organized. The main topics of discussion were: - trends in the development of NQF in European countries; - analysis of the development of NQF elements in KR; - the development of of NQF in KR: strategy, resources, links with current reforms.

Delegation from ADAM University taking participation on the 11th annual conference on hospitality, tourism and sport S.M.A.R.T FILOXENIA on issues related to the dimension of sustainability, management, authenticity, responsibility and technological effectiveness in tourism.
The conference takes place in University of Nicosia (Cyprus). Participation in a conference is carried out within the implementation of EurDiQ project supported by Erasmus + program.

Assoc. prof. Svetlana Sirmbard, Rector of Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics taking participation on the EURDIQ – 561832-EPP-1-2015-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP – ERASMUS+ project “European dimension in qualifications for tourist sector” kick-off-meeting. Meeting is holding on base of International Baltic Academy (Riga, Latvia). The project supported by Educational, Audiovisual and Culture Agency has started in December 2015. Rector represent Kyrgyz part of consortium: Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics, Issyk-kul State University named after K. Tynystanov, Silk Road tourist association and Ministry of education and Science of Kyrgyz Republic. In project consortium also involve HEIs from Russian Federation: Saint-Petersburg State Economic University, Don State Technical university, Sochi State university, from Germany: Baltic College Schwerin - University of Applied Sciences, from UK: London Metropolitan University, from North Cyprus -University of Nicosia. The main goal of kick-off-meeting is to discuss of the action plan for implementation of the 3-year project with University -coordinator.
